Republik Freies Wendland

Weiter so.

Photo Comic Style

Two day ago M. called me: „Will you photograying with me. I like to try some experiments with lights in the nights.“ Of course i enjoy to go with others to shoot. Walking with the two young guys into the city. I had the horrorible phantasy. We all staying in a line and shooting the same. Of course ith happened completly different. We walked 500 Meters from my place, only.  This place i never recognized as a shooting location. I learned from them.

Longer time ago i work on a photo comic. For that I do experiments with comic style colorgrading. The other idea is, always i wanted to shoot people with in-motion-unsharpness in contrast to the sharp buildings. For the comic i liked miserable, dull atmosphere.
Honestly, i never thougth that it looked so great. That i discovered by doing colorgrading in photoshop. For example the window with the bridge. By shooting I was so dissapointed that i thought never, it is a bad photo. The result convinced me and opened my mind to see daily locations with a new possibilities. You can see it in the gallery.

Here the gallery –  that the people are transparent was planned!

Deutsch:

The Four Times of Day | about 1858 | National Gallery London

Sorry at the first pic i wrote the death of the painter wrong. He died 1875 not as I wrote 1825. Nowadays you say to it: postfactal, what a mess.

English:
From the visit in the National Gallery London i show you in the next time a few examples to learn as Photo- and Videographer. I´m faszinated from the light and shadow of the painture Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot. He lived from 1796 until 1875. Unbelievable how he showed the changing light over one day. Take your time and have a look.

Thanks to the National Gallery London. It is allowed to take photo. Only no flash light. Of course flash destroys the color.
